Privacy Policy

HOURCAR's Privacy Policy outlines how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and processed when members use HOURCAR services and related applications. It details the types of information gathered, the purposes for which it is used, and the measures taken to protect member privacy.

Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions document constitutes the Member Agreement between HOURCAR and its members. It specifies the terms under which members may access and use HOURCAR vehicles, including member obligations, usage policies, and legal disclaimers.

Insurance Card

HOURCAR members are covered by our insurance policy while driving our vehicles. HOURCAR carries auto liability coverage on all HOURCAR Vehicles as required by Minnesota law, as well as additional commercial auto liability coverage with a combined single limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000) per accident for bodily injury and property damage liability. HOURCAR assumes no liability for personal property in or on HOURCAR Vehicles. HOURCAR may modify insurance coverage limits at any time without notice. The insurance information is available in the app and can also be found in the glovebox of the car.

If you are driving unsafely at the time of a crash, you will be assessed an Unsafe Driving Damage Fee of up to $250 to cover the cost of repairs. Examples of unsafe driving behavior include, but are not limited to, excessive speeding, driving while using a handheld device, and aggressive driving.

HOURCAR assumes no liability for personal property in or on the vehicle. Members are responsible for keeping their driver’s license up to date and alerting us about any moving violations or other changes to their driving record which may affect their eligibility for membership. Invalid/expired credit card and/or drivers’ license information will result in your account being disabled until valid information is provided.
